sydney's first trip to the zoo

We started out our visit with some yummy lunch-prunes for Miss Sydney (don't ask!)

So nice to catch a ride with daddy (Sydney was thinking the ice cream stand behind her looked much tastier than those prunes!)

We all enjoyed the gondola ride around the zoo where we caught views of the animals from above. Sydney waved at every animal we passed :)

And for this year, Sydney will have to be content with waving to her brother & sister from the sidelines as they ride the rides...but just wait until next summer!

Whew! It has been one heck of a week around here! We started each day with Vacation Bible School and ended most days with swimming lessons. In between, as daddy was gone to Alabama for work for half the week, we filled our time with music in the park, playing with friends, swimming & just basically having some good old summer fun. It was great...but all this fun really wore us out!
